I put a klaxon on my 914 hillclimb car. The marshals loved it when I honked on the last run down saying thanks

Went to a clubbie meeting at Shelsley Walsh today in the 911.
All the Porsche Speed Championship boys were there and put on a stirring show. Our Wayne was commented on as "Very confident through the Esses"

Made an almighty mess on a Shell station forecourt, and missed my ferry

Oh no! Though that’s a big enough dump I’m going to guess it was just a loose something-or-other rather than a catastrophic kaboom...

Oil hose split on the tank
I was very lucky, crossing the top of Wales on the A55, I had no idea about the leak but pulled in to stretch my legs and on returning to the car saw a large black puddle expanding underneath! If I hadn’t stopped….
Removed the hose and cut a length off a breather hose to replace it. But it took too long to make the ferry on time.

The guy who cleans the Shell forecourt won’t be impressed with me this morning
No story with the reg Andy, standard Irish registration number.

I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.

Took the leisurely route to Screwfix. Roads were quiet, everyone queueing at petroleum stations

Had a fabulous weekend of hill climbing at Loton Park.
Lots of Porsches all over the place and a Lola with the Wrong engine.

Good feeling Keith.
Keep going though I suspect the season is now all over, time for chilly hours getting the car to the next stage.
You won't be alone.
