RHD Wiper Motor

Post by Tp81 »

Looking for a good condition RHD wiper motor to suit a 1973 911.

Hoping some one can assist.

Thanks in advance

Tom
Please excuse my ignorance, I’m sure I should know this, but… is the motor handed LHD / RHD? Or just the mounting bracket (required to clear the steering column on a RHD)?
I thought it was just the bracket?
Are you missing the whole thing or do you have one usable part (motor or bracket)?
Depending on your situation I probably have something useful in the RHD parts stash…
Hope all well with you.
Cheers, Richard

Richard,

All good thanks, trust life is good with you.

Not sure on the RHD/ LHD, I assume they are handed and its not just the mounting bracket or Gary from GDC would have sorted this. Also assume it is just the motor, will qualify things are revert back.

I haven't been on for sometime, have you started the 65 car?

Cheers

Tom

Nope! Still working up sufficient energy / amnesia to think that another resto is a brilliant idea...

All the best,
Richard.

They are definitely different - I have had both. I have a RHD one in bits - but that probably wont help :-)
