We don't know if numbers match yet, that'll swing things.
Whose car is/was that then? The one Luke used to own?

Anyway. It's a 2.4E. RHD. In a rare colour combo. Ticks a lot of boxes!

.

Not a good sign that it's wearing Fulda Y-2000 tyres ... I had these fitted to a couple of early 911's 15+ yrs ago when they were the only reasonably priced VR-rated 185/70 x 15 tyres available (& the cars were worth 20-25% of today's values) - dreadful tyres !!

This silver one made £150k apparently:

Nice mileage etc but I’d have bid £149,900 because of the badge.

Luke’s car was aubergine James. This one is royal purple.
Needs some correct and one missing original clips in the engine department………. Oh, and a period badge.

Pity the interior is a mish mash of different browns, so hard to get………

Mike

Mike: Yes, you’re right, Luke’s car was aubergine. It’s been a very long time since I’ve seen that car.

As for the browns, too true. I would need those seats out, and have Gary go to work generally on the cabin

I will just leave this here. I applaud the effort. But £100k is a heck of a chunk of change.

The other week I spoke to a chap who is moving to Australia from the US who wanted to buy this car and export to Australia. Seems there is a luxury car tax so he had to get it under 39k. Which I admit I was doubtful about. I didn't go and see it for him as he was speaking to Paul at PRS so, I guess, someone that reals knows these car went to see it

However, 70k, plus commission, is strong money?Image

Ridiculously strong money. Mind you I saw 2 old guys giving it a real searching checkover prior to the auction. I suppose if they’re doing the resto themselves it could make sense!
