Hi, I'm in the Midlands and need to get a bit of structural work done ot the floor etc. I'm just wondering who if anyone (private or commercial) has a 911 jig for a 1970 body, or does this kind of work for a reasonable price? (already have the name of Barry Carter but he's miles away!)

Barry is worth traveling for . Once the car is on a trailer anyway it’s only a couple of extra hours.

Barry has restored 3 of my cars (four if you count a Citroën) and is by far the best money I ever spend.......not only is he supremely skilled and knowledgeable, he's the most honest, straight and fair Porsche specialist you could ever hope to meet. You could never question his time spent because I don't believe he ever really charges the effort he puts in and his work is second to none.
You often hear of horror stories with this type of work but once your car's with Barry you can simply forget about it if you wish and know that you're in safe hands and won't be ripped off.
The chap who's painting my latest project couldn't praise him enough on the quality of infill panel for my sunroof and that's from someone who really knows.
No doubt there's lots of talented people out there but if Barry was in Outer Mongolia I'd still be taking my cars to him

Having Barry's name on the car's build list also adds a huge value imho.
There are a few names that carry big respect to those who understand, and Barry is right at the top.
You can judge all that by the threads on here, all the 911s, but also that E Type...
