I’m surprised it took this group 24 hours to bite!

We’re watching on livestream. Up until now I was quite upset that I wasn’t there, but now I’m happy to be warm and cosy in (not very) sunny Somerset!
Take care, and get home safely

A "coming together" that I had with a lorry ( that the council had parked on a bend on the wrong side of the road with no warning signs ) in my 2.7RS on May bank holiday 2007.

According to the police the skid marks showed that I was doing 53.7MPH when I hit it ! - I broke my sternum ( incredibly painful ) on the steering wheel and was lucky to survive ( because I was wearing my seat belt )

I sold the car to Autofarm who rebuilt it and sold it at the Essen show the following year.

Lovely, isn't it? Straight out of SCCA racing in the 1970s. Wonderful!

Well, apart from the mirrors...

Very cool - I'd change the wing mirrors though

That RSR was a 1974 Targa Florio entry.
If you think they went OTT with stickers on the rear wing, just wait till you see the bonnet!

Lurking in this month’s Porsche Post, a pic from 2011;

- car from Lancs - check
- orange with black mirrors and wheels - check
- I’ll fitting headlights and light grey interior - check

I think I may know where that car is, 10 years on!
