So race car just missed reserve last night.
It is now live on Collecting Cars in Buy Now section at an all inclusive, I think bargain price, for a few days.

Looks great value at that price Raymond, dread to think what that would cost to build.Boydyrs wrote:So race car just missed reserve last night.

I think so to Feroz and you are correct but if potential buyers won’t pay reserve what do you do.

I was talking to Raymond about this car earlier this year and would have happily paid £50k for it if the stars had aligned. So many good mechanical bits and good names attached to the build.

"Engine was upgraded to 911 spec"
Was this a 912 then?
Still, looks a cracker and a loss of some money for someone..

Nope. A profit for the person who paid £65k for it last week:

Re: Porsche for sale of the day..........
£65k + fees = £68,0900! Needs to sell for £80k before the current seller declares a profit.
I went to view the car and was going to bid but decided against it in the end. Nice car, lots of good work done to it but not a total bare shell resto. Looks much better without the extra stickers in my view. There is a pleasant bonus for whoever ends up buying the car that the previous seller wasn't aware of (and neither is this one by the looks of it). I am sure it could be bought for mid 70s and you could do a lot worse for the money as its a lovely car and drives very well.
