Received the final hill climb instructions for the one-day Porsche meeting at Prescott on the 19th June.
Only have 4 in my class, invited racing cars.
Trouble is, all of them are proven to go faster than me!
One is a DDK member, younger than me, so perhaps he will be polite and let me go faster?

Poor old chap! It's a good job that you've got a lovely lady to follow you around with your pipe and slippers!

Went to Goodwood members 'breakfast' last sunday. Parked on the start finish straight. Forgot to take any photos. A friend of mine who came with me took the one below which doent really include any Goodwoodness........

First time out after fitting rebuilt MFI pump. Goes like a train!!
Only drama was the ball and socket throttle linkage on the side of the gearbox came apart on the drive there. 5 mins to diagnose and fix....

Re: What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?
Went to collect the 914 from Williams-Crawford after having the rear trailing arms swapped and fitted with Elephant Racing poly-bronze bushes and shafts, new wheel bearings etc.
Then bolted up my new Group 4 Wheels LMZ 'alu-steel'-style rims, shod with Toyo R888R rubber. This followed by a full alignment – car feels so different! New springs next week...
