James
where did you get this pic from ?
I like to download Porsche's press pics when I find them
they are for my own library use
this SC is one of my favorites 356s and I never knew it was in sky blue
cheers

Re: Your Porsche pic of the day......
Dennis: that pic has been in my hard dive for years, not sure where I first pilfered it from.
As for the colour, the picture looks heavily edited (all the blues and greens are super saturated), so I guess the true colour is quite different

Re: Your Porsche pic of the day......
thanks James
the pic also appears in the Porsche Pictures Past forum - what a time waster this one is !!
here is another of the same car
the Sloniger syndicated road test appeared in a local Sports Car World magazine in July 1964
bought in my youth,I was fascinated with the sunroof and the twin dial dash - here we saw few sunroof 356s and no twin dial dashes
yes your pic seems to be enhanced somewhat but I would like to think that the car is original colouring
Slonigers test is of following the Monte Carlo Rally and I can see the lower sides and wheels are a bit grubby along with both rear fenders - would this be hard to photo shop ?
Sky blue is one of my favorite 356 C colours and is a pleasant surprise to see it on this particular car after all this time
cheers
