I also have no intention of ever adding them all up. Learned that lesson, sure you have also told me on more than one occasion that this is a fatal error.

I feel for you Tom. You have had many hurdles to overcome, many not of your making, but nice to see a little of your mojo back with this resto.

Wow, going back through the thread and seeing the painted shell...and then seeing the latest photo....hard to believe its the same car.

Having been through the pain of doing a car pretty much twice....I can only sympathise....dont ever add it all up (there is no point, just pain)....just get it done, get it booked onto a Goodwood track day and forget all the pain. It takes a while to forgive the car...and also reconcile yourself to the money spent....but it is possible!

Think you are in safe hands now Tom so hopefully a more predictable path from here onwards. A nicely set up 911E is a wonderful car and I would have another quite happily. Especially in Gemini blue, second best blue after Albert!! I do read some of these restoration threads and think I couldn't stomach one but the end results are fabulous for those with the patience.

Looks fantastic. Keep the faith. A chap near me took delivery of a RHD 2.4S, sunroof in Gemini blue at the weekend. Had a DDK badge on the rear screen. Bought via Tom Hartley Jnr. Suffice to say it was stunning. The colour in the sunlight is just beautiful.
