Anybody know what size and type of fitting will remove the hinge bolt on my 69t?
Thanks Lee

Having said that by the look of it you may need a chisel or drill...
Make sure the bottom of the hole is clear from any paint or muck and possibly grind off the end of the tool and hammer it in to get the maximum depth of spline engagement before you even try to undo them.
Thanks guys. Did they do spline bolts with more than 12 ?
I think there seems to be more than 12. Need to look again?
Will check. What did SWB cars have, probably wrong again !
Thanks Lee

That's definitely 12 point (also known as triple square or XZN). The pattern around the outside of the head is also distinctive.
Congratulations, you are the proud owner of a factory original bolt.
It might be slightly devalued by the time you've smacked it very hard with a large mallet and cold chisel, which does look as if it might be required.
(SWB were normal hex bolts, although early cars had a head size unusual for the bolt diameter)
It’s funny, one the drivers door I have half sized head hex bolts with a pattern round the edge?
Appreciate all your help as usual
