Ah yes, of course, free road tax - doh!
I think it also depends on the build date though - needs to be built before Jan 1st 1980 to qualify for free tax this year, or before Jan 1st 1981 to qualify for free tax next year.
My 924 Turbo is now 40 yrs, but wasn't registered until June 1980, so based on that date and the serial number, it was very likely to have been built well after Jan 1st 1980. Free road tax from next year though for me!![bounce :bounce:](./images/smilies/icon_bounce.gif)

I'd forgotten all about the history of the SC (loved my 83SC daily driver of old - Pewter with burgundy leather with matching burgundy towels to cover up the torn seats).

I have one its still on vehicles for sale and restored under the restoration thread its just a little hole.
