I think Blut is a colour that grows on you, I liked it on my car especially when broken up with the RS decals etc, and looks great when the weather is moody, but on a sunny day its a real retina burner! Looks fabulous on a 911 though, its very 70's! 8)

Same car - looks totally different colour so influenced by brightness of the day, never known another colour like it... :?

A few more pics to placate Vic's fans.
I've not got many more shots and these are only low res but Vic is happy for me to post these. He pledges to take more shots once his car is back from a 'snagging' session at Sportswagen.
As James observed it's a difficult colour to accurately portray and so I've tried to colour shift these and get them looking like a true blutorange.
Vic claims the cars not finished but hey 'looks good to me! :)

Oh, you are digital then Vic.
I thought you might still be using dark slides.
I swear I can see the mahogany tripod and the big black blanket thrown over your head in that last shot

Hi Vic,

Nice to see your beautiful car, which has same color as mine (bloodorange, code 018), a 2.4S model 1972, but with LHD...

Here some pics :
