Looks great - I can produce the side decals.

As on the 912R

The back ones I haven't done before - only positive version like this.

Just throughly enjoyed reading this thread after following the link over from VZi - certified quality. It even had me looking on evilbay at 911s but they all stank

Not that it'd be a good idea for me to do it, but where's good to look classified -wise?

Glad you've enjoyed reading it autohausdolby - I'm starting to enjoy the car now.

I bought mine in pre-ebay days - followed through the classified in the porsche mags as well as auto-trader on-line. Once you narrow it down to what you're looking for the choice narrows dramatically. Good luck in your search!

Fitted the alu rear grill over the week-end and converted the airbox to "Ghetto-cup" stylee.

Also the Decals arrived from Bootsy and they look brill - going to get someone else to apply them though, and will post some more pics once they are on

Cheers

Mark

Have we had a Midlands meet to appreciate the car "in the flesh" yet ?
If not, then when ?
Otherwise, sorry I missed it :(

No-one's seen it yet apart from Pedders, and he bought me lunch!

I'd be up for some sort of meet-up - if not before then I will be going to Husborne again this year - first time in 2 years that i've been able to go in a Porsche instead of a volvo!

If someone sets up a midlands meet other than that I'd be happy to come along

Cheers

Thanks a lot for all the kind comments - I'm really pleased with the end result. Just got to do the chrome door handles yet. Oh and I'm fitting some 6mm spaces to the rear wheels as well.

OK Nige - you're starting to scare me now. I'm chokka this week but could drop by next week sometime ( but no 'cruising' OK?) - actually isn't your baby due this Friday?

Bert - eventually I used a car decal place in Carrington - they were very good - just got them off YELL.com. Having said some of the sharper corners are lifting off - I washed it the day after I got it back and I don't know if I'm partly to blame on that - I went over them as gently as I could - does anyone know of any adhesive I could use under those corner bits that won't show and won't harm the paint?

I took the car out for some more posey pics on Friday - will post them separately
