maverick
noun
1. an unorthodox or independent-minded person.
2. an unbranded calf or yearling.
Origin mid 19th century: from the name of Samuel A. Maverick (1803–70), a Texas rancher who did not brand his cattle.

Assume that is Reg B (on one of his last competitive outing?)

A lovely well developed car with superb attention to detail. I hope who ever has it now contunues to use it as intended?

Yo!
Thought of you both today, must ring you and arrange a coffee, maybe a meet-up at Attingham?

Yes, Reg's car, what a beauty it was too, he told me he was heart broken but it went to a very good home, doubt it will see a hill again.

A very very long time ago now, but this was my image of that car when I first saw it:

Is that Quad Al, I remember an article in Hod Rod magazine about that whilst at school mid 1960's.

It is. Fabulous idea for a car which never got finished and run IIRC.

I noticed that too - I wouldn't be able to leave them like that ...
