conversion flywheel

does anyone have a link to a conversion flywheel to put a later engine onto a early 901 gearbox please, i cannot find one

For my conversion to put a 73 2.4 motor into my 69 car and 901 box, I am expecting (coz that's what I was told) just to use the flywheel off the early motor.

That's correct.

It's not so straightforward if fitting a later engine with a 9-bolt flywheel ...

ah yes, it's ok with a 6 bolt one. On the Patrick site there are 901 conversion flywheels for 964s and 993s (for example) which I assume are the 9 bolt ones.

yeah mine is 9 bolt i think , it s a 3.0sc , so do we think the 964 type is correct one

Give them a call or drop them a note and they will give loads of advice. I spoke to Sean when I did my 3.0SC to 901 / 914 box conversion about 15 years ago. He was a fantastic help, and talked through the many clutch options to suit my hill climb application.
