It is running well, just the hour hand is suddenly lagging consistently to all numbers on the face.
I've emailed the restorer for advice.
The watch is about 26months in my possession, hope he will repair it, warrantee was 24 months....
It was a 40th marriage anniversary present.

Rolex experts. Is there a way to use the serial number to get the year of manufacture? If chrono24 is to be believed this watch purchase a few years ago may of been my best investment ever? £5k for these? Seems a bit high?

Lewis Hamilton wanted to trademark his name in relation to various things including watches. Hamilton watches responded by trying to trademark their name, saying they got there first. Hamilton watches won. A fairly normal day in the world of IP, I’d have thought.

Or, if you’re the Daily Mail, a fun opportunity to attempt to diminish the reputation of a black man.

There isn't a lot of love for Hamilton. I think you might be right, unfortunately, about the reason.

However, this case looked like it was a none starter. Why waste the money?
