I didn't find myself warming to the youtuber, but on the basis that a virtual visit to Tuthill's is better than no visit at all:

I don’t mind Sam .. his postcasts are entertaining and out of all the ‘YouTubers ‘ he is one of the more watchable . I quite enjoyed his round the world in his Porsche .

Agree, he's ok, and typical of the current breed of presenters, all smiles, fast chat and bursting enthusiasm for the moment.
Seems a nice car and a current fair price?
Always amazes me there is enough room for all these specialists in the UK and there are enough monied customers to support them all.
That building is quite an overhead to support but must give confidence to a customer paying.

Re: porsche vid. of the day
Alongside his orchard (went to Tuthills on a PCGB open day some years ago; Francis' apple-tree-shaking-machine had just starred as the murder weapon in an episode of mid-summer murders & he gifted us each a bottle of freshly squeezed apple juice!) Tuthill carved out a niche, building historic rally winning 911s for the likes of Dessie Nutt & Geraldine McBride, developing that into a global business supporting among others Stig Blomqvist and Bjorn Waldegard on the Safari Classic.911hillclimber wrote: Always amazes me there is enough room for all these specialists in the UK and there are enough monied customers to support them all.

Richard has taken more of a lead since Francis survived a big head-on crash with a tree in a rally 911. Can't find a picture on line, but the tree trunk had made most of it's way up the centre of the 911's bonnet. They've taken opportunities to develop the business with ice driving, resto-mod 911s and now success in the 2.0 early 911 race series.
The building must have been a considerable investment and has the appearance of an official showroom, Francis was browsing at the DDK swap-meet at Greatworth earlier in the year though.
