Re: Flares....
.....well it would have been funny, in the end, however we were always aware the car would be too wide for Barry's workshop door and the plan is for him to visit for fitment of the rear arches and final gapping/fettling in a couple of weeks....

....a premature pose perhaps although we're 98% there and sadly this could be the last time we see one of Barry's cheerful goodbyes for a while as, other than a repair job and checking/welding for Gary, he's taking a bit of a sabbatical from early Porsche work to concentrate on other projects....
.....after nearly a year with Barry the car is back, looking very inch an RS and very nearly ready for the next stage.....

...a few more details over the weekend
Cheers,

Re: Flares....
Looks brilliant Darren, it sits so well even just in the metal!
I said to Barry at a CLM many years ago as a joke that I’d book in for his last job before he retired as I might be able to afford it by then! Didn’t really plan on that being the case

Re: Flares....
That does look properly mean. Lovely work, as ever.
Although Barry would be too modest to say so, his retirement from 911s will leave a bit of a gap in the skills base...
Cheers, Richard.

993 sills?
I seem to remember that as recent as 2 years ago Porsche were re-making 911 sills (without indents). NLA already?

Re: Flares....
Thanks guys, appreciate the comments.
I expect sills are still available Ian but these came with the car.....they've been properly backdated with correct drain holes etc.
