If you press your ear to the window, you can hear it rusting... (I love Renault 16s and learned to drive on one...)

That’s very cool.
I am trying to work out what is going on with the front screen in the beetle. It looks too square at the corners, is it me? It might be the trim creating an optical illusion....

Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
the roofline looks a bit odd as well but given the rear wheels, am guessing it is some kind of silhouette drag/hot rod beetle homage.....?

Might also be a bit of photoshop play going on as I’m pretty sure that truck doesn’t have twin rear wheels (although it looks cool) as the valve stems are perfectly lined up and the paint on the frame above is the same in two places.

Not identical, but could be where it started, this was in a Brightwells auction in November....... It was very cool.Gary71 wrote:Might also be a bit of photoshop play going on as I’m pretty sure that truck doesn’t have twin rear wheels (although it looks cool) as the valve stems are perfectly lined up and the paint on the frame above is the same in two places.

Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
The pic just came from a facebook feed and there were many different angles so I don't think photoshop was involved

Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
I'm beginning to think there are two or more of these. the pic i put up actually came from a carandclassic ad, and i now wonder if the one i saw at Brightwells was the first one......
