1969 2.0 LWB 911T
Well, it is with a heavy heart I am thinking of selling my beloved 1969 LWB 2.0 911T. I have been a PCGB member since 1984 and have owned this car since 2004, bought by myself from California and shipped, reg etc by me. Only 85k miles from new (believed genuine). All original interior. Bare metal respray about 7 years ago. Deep 6 Fuchs (original steel wheels included). Brand new Pirelli Cinturatos. Original USA dealer invoice and handbook included. Original USA plates. Tons of paperwork (USA and UK), original sales brochure, all our Goodwood Revival programmes, Silverstone 50 years, etc, etc. Had some great times in this car esp when the kids were little and could fit in the back. It is not getting used as it should, our kids don't drive, so I am thinking someone else should enjoy it. Just putting this out there to get some feedback, not advertised anywhere at the moment.

That looks fantastic. Green is always a popular colour and I think this will get people's attention.

Having just gone through the buying process myself, I think this sounds like it will compete well against most of the LHD cars out there. There are still buyers despite what is going on with the world. As always, those who want the better/best cars will pay for it. Besides the forum, you should try to speak some of the reputable restorers / dealers about the market so you can form the full picture of the different routes to sell. There are one or two who might give you a trade bid as well even in this market. Also, Collecting Cars seem to attract a lot of potential buyers in this space but you need to do a bit of homework on it and need to be sure you want to go down that route.

I would certainly be interested in full details, pictures and price. I am a private buyer, looking at the moment to buy the right car. Lhd is fine, and colour is very important to me.

Thanks for reposting this Jeremy and your feedback everyone. Although we haven't done much with DDK in recent times the car has been to many shows etc in the past 16 years so you might have seen it. Had quite a bit of interest already so I'll try to write something up with more details and photos. I even found a video from the 2005 Yorkshire Dales run with this kids in the back (they are now 6' 2" and 6' 4"). If anyone would like more info message me by all means.

That isn't going to be cheap and I bet the Fulljames engine build backlog is huge. Most of them in the queue are going to be Darren's though, so perhaps you could buy a build slot?
