No idea about the car, but my 1960 356 was originally registered with YOB 3 as it’s plate. On the AFN kardex YOB 3 November 1960. Then according to the kardex was changed to 5 EYX in 1967. Not sure when it got its current number.

Funny how this was a common occurrence back in the day, my AFN car too was originally registered with a different number to the one it currently displays.
Funny thing is though, I think I prefer this to it’s original!
Interestingly the asking price for YOB3 (the car) has just dropped significantly from £140,000.
