Top money for a car with several small, frustrating issues which would lead me to believe resto was done with an eye on cost...

Bargain, scam or rot box?

Hard to tell if it is an early turbo or not from those pictures, they are inferring it is by saying the original 3.0l engine comes with it, however it has the later whale tail,front valance, headlight washers and steering wheel.....

Just out of interest, would a Turbo not automatically have had sports seats?

I've been reliably informed this is the best forum ever. I hope that's the case as I've been looking forward to owning one of these for a very long time. This is my first foray into the world of classics - it's always been a dream and I have been saving like a man possessed to get there before they become too rich.

I'd been looking for something which was in good condition but not "matching numbers" etc and which had scope for subtle mods. Thankfully, this fits the bill and has the benefit of most of the mods I'd been thinking of included already. Can't wait to pick it up and to hopefully learn (and eventually) contribute on here.
