Went for an early drive with my mate James to Goring Gap - the beach is going to be busy today.

I put the yellow wire back on the starter motor. An easy fix if a pain to get at.
I tightened the handbrake shoes adjustment and greased the Elephant racing rear bushes while I was at it.
I enjoyed that :)

Took the 911 out for a solo run today well out into Shropshire with lots of traffic..but the car ran well and the new wheel feels a treat, the new diameter and more slender rim has added a lot of comfort.

The revised Durant door mirror has gone from useless to really good, I can see for miles and miles to the rear.

To top this good news, the 2 French motorcycles I have both started first time!

Wonders how my stars aligned so well.
Oddly, couldn't find pictures spots for photos

Thanks Thomas - It’s been at a bodyshop since lockdown having the front bumper repaired and repainted after I met with a Marmot last summer!

Will do James - I’ll drop some notes onto the thread on these tyres.

They (your new tires) look fantastic. So cool to be able to shod the car with something that looks right. John
