Car SOS 356
I'm watching this now. What a state the shell is in. They are struggling to raise the C on a lift.

Considering what they started with and the time scale involved - they did a fantastic job, for a really nice guy

Great episode. Who's that dodgy bloke on the tractor, though?

I will certainly not draw swords with you over that `Dodgy Geezer`
I thought it was better than the usual S.O.S episodes - but to almost quote someone from our era
I would say that wouldn`t I

Re: Car SOS 356
We supplied all the parts for the restoration but as you say, it was their man that built the engine
I am not around these days (Paul handles everything at PRS now) so I was not party to what was said on a day to day basis but have no doubt that Paul would have had some say in it.
It is what you see, they just got on with it and overcame every problem as it occured. and when you start to realise that they have to hit every booked date i.e. The Velodrome, The MOT etc, etc and also prepare for the future shows, you start to realise how professional they are.
They were a very nice crowd to work with

Cheers for sharing Neil - thought I was gonna have to wait 'til they air that on Channel 4
The show's become very formulaic so I only tune in if they're doing an interesting car and I enjoyed that one. Another 356 back on the road as well

I suspect it was taken down as an infringement of broadcasting rights. The modern equivalent of a pirate video tape! Whoever posted it was considerate enough to hit pause during the adverts.
It'll be on Channel 4 some time in 2021 if it doesn't pop up on You Tube again...

I really enjoyed that program
I think the car would have looked nicer with bumpers !!!!!

Bumperless T6 looks good with the right stance; front end reminiscent of the later 550 Spyders
