Thanks Mike - based on some of Tom's previous photos I thought it was probably somewhere in Glasgow or the periphery.

Certainly looks very different to my childhood memories of visiting Glasgow - mind you, my grandmother did live in one of the tenements in Possilpark !!

Mike is spot on, it is Ashton Lane in the West End of Glasgow. It is a busy vibrant lane with pubs, restaurants, and a boutique cinema. You would never drive down here with the number of pedestrians walking about. It is effectively a pedestrian area that is currently deserted. Sign of the times.
