Leather Wheel

Post by Geebe67 »

Hi guys,

I have been registered previously but have forgotten my password and no longer have that email account :(

Could someone help with this wheel please?

I purchased it many years ago, actually I bought two but this one is surplus. I would like to offer it for sale however I have no idea of the year, model or price.

Its 420 so I guess its a 911 wheel? The only markings I can see are 610. Any help would be appreciated.

.

As you say, it's a 420mm leather wheel complete with 'batwing' horn pad.

This is the type that would have been fitted to swb models - standard on '67 & '68 911S models & optional for other models.

It looks as though the original leather covering is in good condition - which is a big bonus.

If the leather & chrome ring on the hornpad are in good condition as well then the whole package is worth decent money - maybe more so in the States.

For current values I'd check the Early S Registry, Pelican & ebay.com
