Impressed that went through IVA even with the obscured front number plate?
Is it a steel bodied car (except the front clam) and if so, couldn't he have kept the original plate?
Still look through and sometimes buy Custom Car, but you can read it in 15 mins.
Some of the builds are out of this world!

The number plate wouldn’t have been there on test day

Re: We all need one of these !
The car was originally running on its old plate but post-IVA it now runs a 'Q' plate - 'Q' for Quality, don't forget. ie, it's all 100 per cent legal.
Graham - it lost the right to the old plate because it has a different chassis (that's the part to which the number belongs, not the body), as well as different engine, suspension, brakes... It could never pass the '8-point rule', hence the 'Q'.

Since my 'scare' I had forgotten that!
Oh for the good days but it was nearly 1/2 a century ago for me and my Y Type.
