That’s a great photo, although you have to wonder what would happen to the spectators if a car hit the sandbags.....
Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
Can’t remember where I found that photo ... if real is pretty cool

Found this photo on the internet and description today and thought it was also pretty cool
“This is a photo of my grandfather, Albert G Philips, driving a Ford Model T up & down the courthouse steps, in Palatka, Florida. My grandfather & his brother had the Ford dealership, also notice the man with two miles looking on! Circa 1912”

Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
I think that's my favourite aston. The DB5 is more famous but the rear lights are tacky. I used to like the sloping front lights on the DB5 but now I think the pop-out ones have more character.
Beautiful.

Agree with that, and it's up for sale just now.sladey wrote:I think that's my favourite aston. The DB5 is more famous but the rear lights are tacky. I used to like the sloping front lights on the DB5 but now I think the pop-out ones have more character.

Maserati Khamsin. My mechanic has been rebuilding two of these. As with so many Italian cars
they look much lower and nicer in the flesh/metal than in pictures.
