Front A arm bush installation kit

Post by newto912 »

Hi All
I am in process of replacing the front bushes which I have ordered from restoration design
Does anyone have an installation kit such as the elephant racing one that you would consider lending?
Happy to make a donation to the charity and pay for postage both ways
Hope someone can help
Thanks

What car are they for? The 912?

The fronts are easy the back ones need a press to go on and you need to remove the paint from the arm. Remember to put the round spacer on first!

If it’s a later car soak the bushes in hot water. m10 or larger studding, nuts and unistrut square washers and hand soap is all you need. Oh and oven gloves to handle the bushes.

The is a video of a guy callled Ian Kerr on YouTube. He uses the cones but you don’t need them.
