Taking off the roof has somehow ruined it. It’s now more amphicar / Trabant than 02.

It is strange looking. I went to look at one to buy many years ago. Didn't really like it. I was saved anyway as it completely riddled with rust and was a complete shite-heap!

By the time the bug's finished with us that'll be worth somewhere between two bags of pasta & a 24 pack of bog roll and $0.5m, on account of quantitative easing (printing money) going to classic car prices faster than Dairy Milk to middle aged love handles. Either way a brave purchase...
maverick
noun
1. an unorthodox or independent-minded person.
2. an unbranded calf or yearling.
Origin mid 19th century: from the name of Samuel A. Maverick (1803–70), a Texas rancher who did not brand his cattle.
