Yes, it's up nearly another 2ft this morning, and it's still raining! As you say, nothing like 2014 yet, thank God!
Waiting (impatiently!!!) for the scaffolders to remove their kit from the new garage today so that I can get the cars safely into their new home. I wasn't planning another garage project just this soon ……… :?

Incredibly lucky! If the scaffolding hadn't been there, it would probably have smashed the corner of the roof out of our new garage, and destroyed our neighbours not-yet-completed new conservatory.

I got both cars safely into their new home again just before dinner this evening, once the scaffolding had gone from the new garage.

Hopefully I'll sleep a bit more easily tonight, a glass or two of red will probably help! :drunken:
Then we've just got to sort through all the rest of the assorted "stuff" that was thrown in there yesterday.

And, of course get round to re-building and strengthening the wooden garage!

Looks very nice, well done!
Just one question, have seen many garage pictures here on the forum and most of you have not used insulation on/in the roof :?: :?

Hi Andreas!
First of all, Somerset is nothing like as cold in winter as Gothenburg!
We crept considerably over our original budget on the garage project, and saw insulating the roof as something that we could do another day. We did however build it with insulated cavity walls to full domestic spec, and double glazed roof lights.
The roof insulation will now be pushed a bit further back as we have to rebuild our old wooden garage!

Cheers!

Hi JW,
Yepp, your right! I understand your choise and i also know how easy it is to blow a garage budget..... however it´s good that you have prepared for it anyway. Always nice to keep stuff warm and climate inside will be much better. Also good for the noice when using tools and compressor. We love insulating here.....
Well, just to start up with the unexpected wooden garage :? , glad that nothing else around were destroyed.
Good luck and more pictures on the garage is always welcome!

Rgds,
Andreas

Strange, as a rule, I really dislike that style of wheel, but they look brilliant on your car Bootsy! Converted!!

Cheers. Hit a pothole on route and bent the lip of the front wing though. Bent back and rubbed down so ok. Got to use them so can’t worry!

MOT sorted

New Oil sender fitted as current one occasionally gave up and it just read full pressure.
