Re: 914-6
There is a real one listed, 96,500 Euro, so £50k all built and finished might be good value indeed. No pics of the interior, but expect it will be perfect.

The ad doesn’t say it’s not a real 6. Unless I’m missing it.
Either way it’ll be a bloody great thing to drive and a great entry to classic road events for £50k.

Re: 914-6
Agree Sam: looks like unbeatable value based on the description.
If it IS a real 6, it would become simply unbelievable value.
So I’m assuming that real it is not.
Unless the seller really is bereft of a few marbles.

Re: 914-6
Morning all, yes it is a real six.....The owner spent a small fortune on the car but has now decided to hang up his racing boots. I met him in the paddock at Silverstone and got involved with some further engine work and sorting the gear linkage. It is cosmetically a bit scruffy but mechanically sorted. The bill from Tuthills did include a bespoke stainless exhaust system, the 40mm PMO's a new original type engine oil cooler plus an additional one fitted under the car. The engine internals are ALL new ,billet crank and rod set, straight cut intermediate gear, oil pump etc. I was going to post it on here but haven't got around to it. A really good base for an FIA GT rep or race it as is, I would be happy to exchange the PMO's for Webers I have a set ready. The car is with me near Guildford in Surrey should anyone show real interest. Thanks, Glynn.
