Engine number 753923 believed to be from early USA delivered 1967 Porsche 912. Does anyone know if this can be substantiated from the engine number alone?
Any help or suggestions gratefully received.
Thanks

Re: 1967 Engine Verification
Kirk.
Dr B. Johnson has the range for 67 as 753431-756195. A 616/36 engine. Chassis number range would be 461141-463204 if Karmann built, 354971-355601 if Porsche built.
Hope that helps. DaveP can help with the kardex.

Re: 1967 Engine Verification
According to the Maestro book, engine dates to around November '66 - so yes early 67 USA delivery seems a reasonable conclusion.
