Not very original Slate Grey (in every aspect)...
Almost every backdate that's done here in the Netherlands is resprayed in Slate Grey...
Don't get me wrong, I think it's a beautiful colour, but there are so bloody many Slate Grey backdated cars out there, it's just ridiculous...
Which colours I like?
- Pastellblau (POR321)
- Blutorange (POR 018)

Slate Grey is now looking very 2012 to me.
Go hard - go Cassis Red.

I think ‘common’ is a relative term Antoine, when did you last see an early 911 driving down the street that wasn’t your mate, and out of those how many were slate grey.
Dunno what holland is like but I haven’t seen an early 911 knocking about more than a handful of times in the last 10 years (other than at shows and people I know) so I’m not worried.
Sam - when taking advice you always have to consider who’s giving it as much as the advice itself. I’ve seen your leggings. Nuff said.

Why don’t you get the body shop to change the mix slightly to create ‘Slade Grey’?

Looks great, how long are you going to keep it like that?
Who's doing the paint?
Exciting.

It’s J&R bodyworks in Sutton Nige - they’ve done lesser repairs on other cars for me before, are nice to deal with and do a good job.
Andy - still planning on the centre stripe - probably in a bright red/blood orange
