I’m nearly up to date now.

This last week-end I had another crack at that offside rear wing that flared out too much.

I started by trying to bash it in a bit but that wasn’t working, so in the end I cut it off and worked on it on the bench

Eventually I got it to a better shape

And once the welds were smoothed and a bit of satin black applied I was happy with it

SO that’s it for now - this morning I dropped it off at the body shop and they reckon it’ll be 2-3 weeks.

I was looking at the banner in my garage with the big picture from Le Mans 2012 and remembered it’s earlier silver and orange vibe! Not that it matters, but what was it’s original colour?

Think it works on a 964 - maybe on an impact bumper car but not on a longhood. IMHBCO
