So, following on from my recent thread asking for comments on a 964 vs 993 model as a potential next Porsche, I've more or less decided that I'll (probably –

I'm hoping I might find a car which has already had money 'lavished' on it &, ideally has been mildly modified – my ultimate spec being some like this:

- although more likely my starting point will be a std LHD narrow-bodied C2 manual.
Prior to getting a 964 (I'll need to sell a couple of my other cars first) I'd like to start accumulating relevant parts if/when they crop up at reasonable prices.
Some of the mods/upgrades I was thinking of include:
KW or Billstein suspension
Alternative wheels (I particularly like the Eta Beta Krones or BBS)
RS lightweight flywheel
RS gear shift lever
Recaro fixed bucket seats (already have a few options)
Lightweight interior, etc
What else do people consider worthwhile modifications/upgrades ?
G-pipe ?
Heater blower by-pass & airbox inlet ?
What about the KW vs Bilstein set-ups – any preferences ?
On that subject I see that there seems to be 2 versions – one for models up to 1990 & another for 1990-on models. What's the difference ?
Any other worthwhile upgrades/mods ?
I'm aware of places like FVD in Germany but who else is a good supplier of new 964 tuning parts ?
