That is a fantastic car. Have you/are you covering it in your Mag?

Hi hope you dont mind the message, do you divulging the cost of the track day at goodwood, i assumed it was just single session after the main event, from your earlier post there was a morning session to.
What were the length of the sessions?
I have pencilled this into the diary for next year, pendind a restored car, i am a complete novice though, apart from a couple of pcgb track sessions several yrs bk in more modern porsches. I know that goodwood is not a foregiving track if you push to hard......
Would value your thoughts, should i forget taking a freshly restored 68 hot rod / t/r around goodwood, with little experience....

I'd give it a go Mark - you'll be fine as long as you don't try to go too quickly too soon. There is a good, if slightly long, guide to driving the track at this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZvZQsBwbDs

914/6GT was going great guns with its new engine, box, brakes and suspension. Super stable at speed on the scary fast Goodwood corners with no runoff to speak off. The handling was sublime driving at 9/10ths and the suspension really worked all the tyres to the max across their full width on the high speed corners turning them into plasticine ! Not the circuit to be testing the limits of handling unless you like living dangerously, but a great circuit to drive. I hadn't driven it in nearly 20 years. Hasn't changed a bit ! Just like it should be.
The 914/6GT looked really great Andy - Luckily at 2/10ths on the Parade laps we could just about keep you in our mirror [/url]
