Yes Tosh still driving it often. My three sons like it as they grew up with it there, two of them have had
a Porsche to drive one a Boxster the other years ago a 924.

I must get around to posting some more on the thread soon.

Hi Roy,
I was just looking through this thread and noticed your engine bay has material liners.
Were they in the car when you got it or did you install them?
I am interested to know because I thought it was only an option for the pre A cars and I have been thinking about installing them on my car.
Thanks,
Karl

Karl,

The liners were present on my car when I bought it in the sixties. I cannot say for certain they are factory but with the way they installed and the fitment perfect for the car I presume they were. I mention liners are vinyl not material were brown when I bought the car. I never thought it suited the Meissen blue so maybe 40 years ago now I bought some vinyl paint and they are now black!

Roy, I'm sorry I cant help with technical issue, but I am steadily becoming upset with modern technology. It only seems to be made to take money from you and not provide a decent product, which is one of the reasons why I love these old cars, easily fixable and then reliable for another 50 years with out an update or a new subscription.
Sorry for the moan.

Hopefully someone will tell you a fix soon.

It will be the photo host blocking the use of them by IP address and in this case UK - I’d imagine some people can see them in they’re in a different country or using a VPN

I’ll do some digging tomorrow to find out more
