Andy, all is revealed in my thread in '911'.

All geo spot on (to my accuracy as in the photo)
Camber: 1.25 deg Neg, Caster 5.5 deg Pos, toe @ Zero, body 1 deg nose down
Front wheels balanced to 'Zero', pressures to 28/32, wheel bearing nice and 'snug'

Wobble GONE at any speed up to 80 ish, as fast as I travel in the car due to the brakes, the headlights, and the wipers!

Will it last?

Swapped cars around. Turns out the 356 will not start with 5.6v. Had to jump start from a 12v.

After a great run out yesterday. I looked at my log book and it had been really 2K since I changed the oil.

I took the plug out and left to drain while we went to watch Captain Marvel (don't bother). Then took the slump plate off. I always seem to lose one washer on the floor so I have spares. The magnetic looked clean. I used 10/40 semi synthetic last time. This time I'm trying 5/30 full synthetic shell helix. No you scream. All the good places use 20/50 mineral. Well in my defence oil technology has come a long way since 1956, 30w was the oil that was originally recommended and the oil I chose had a high zinc content. Next I took the filter out and sucked all the oil out. Pretty clean again. I think that cleaning the slump magnetic and filter canister are probably as important as what oil you use

I will report back on my next oil change.

Straighten the front flexible brake hose I installed. I rebleed the brakes afterwards.

Unfortunately my bleeder, which uses the air pressure from the spare tire, doesn't seal well. It can lose fluid on the connections. I need to either try some gaskets or get a better bleeder

Frustrating day. Took the 356 out and the engine sounded super smooth with fresh oil. Unfortunately the brake pedal went hard and soft. I talked Mrs B into pumping the brake for me, instead of using the pressure bleeder, and got a super firm brake pedal. Took for another drive and became soft again. Gave up but next time will clean and search for leak

Similar problem on my '12. Increasing the pressure bleeder pressure just blew the fluid reservoir to m/c hose off. And made a big mess. And I swore a lot.

I had fluid / debris stuck in the rear calipers - cleared it with a vacuum bleed using my Mityvac pump.
