Sunvisors

Post by anglophone1 »

Found a dusting of brownish powder on the passenger side floor- couldn’t work out what it was until I flipped down the sunvisor and realized it was the perished foam inside the sunvisor leaking out!
Need another pair- preferably dark brown like the ones I have.
Does someone rebuild these?
Another thought is smoked perspex as used in helicopters, cobras et al
Anyone have a source for these?
Thx

Well the huge response made me go poke around on some other forums. Best deal would appear to be https://www.ebay.com/itm/Sun-Visor-Set- ... 0752.m1982
Anyone tried these?
I’m still thinking of Perspex like Cobra or some Morgans for a custom look- anyone done this or know of a source?
Thanks

Clive

At that price I can only wonder of the quality is any good....it’s a heck of a lot cheaper than from Porsche...the mirror insert looks a little crude but it could be the picture...

Sorry can’t help any more
