Hi all, I am new to all this motor rebuild stuff. I bought an MOT failure Chesil Speedster 18 months ago. She(Lady Penelope)has had a complete new chassis and frame. This took nine months. I got her back home in September 2018. I have managed to have some glorious days out with her. Now she needs a little tlc and cosmetic work.
I am after any info on where to go to get the rubber strips that fit into the metal strips down the sides and in the front bumper. The metal strips are in good condition so I don’t want to start taking these off the car. I just need to replace the rubbers as these have shrunk.
Any help or info would be gratefully received.

Hi Greg356
Thanks for this. I will ring them on Monday.
I have always fancied a 356 and fortunately my nearby neighbour had one. I asked that if he was ever thinking of selling to let me know, two months later it was on my drive!! I felt it was meant to be.
My husband, a staunch 911 man, said I could buy it on the understanding I did all the research for bits. I had no idea what I was getting into. But at least the car is completely sound now with her brand new undercarriage. She is a dream to drive.
Upholstery needs some work and planning on new wheels too as well as few jobs on the paintwork. But otherwise she is perfect.
Thanks again for the info.
