Hi all,
my rear view mirror glass is in pretty bad shape, probably Cali sun damage. All the plastic is fine, its the silvering / reflecting surface, so although you can see ok, its far from ideal. Does anyone know, can you replace the glass, or do I need to get a new mirror?
Thanks

If you take it to a local glass company, they can measure it, and cut you an exact copy that will fit inside the the original cover. Just stick it over the original mirror with some double sided tape. Keeps it original?

Just buy a new one, a stuck on repair would drive me nuts everytime I looked at it, it wont fit nicely as there isnt eniugh depth and the surround is bevelled!

Thanks for the responses guys. I just wondered if there was some secret trick to removing the existing glass. Will add a new mirror to my list. Will start on your site Matt
