....very professional outfit and a great set up with some lovely cars around. Nice guys too and very helpful

Nick actually did the tuning but we'll be going back as we plan to swap out the Canems ECU and fit an alternative.

I spoke to them at the Autosport Show and triple choke carbs seemed a bit beyond them, esp when I said PMO.
Maybe that has changed.

If you're scouting around for a good and sympathetic rolling road with lots of carb experience then i can recommend very highly Steve Stanton at Stanton Motorsports, just off M4 behind Membury services. He is a nut. Straight, honest and busy! I have direct experience ( though he is an old friend) but i don't have anything with triple carbs. He was working on a Ferrari with lots of small twinchoke webers when i turned up for a setup and power tune on my T25 Camper in the Summer. W

Thanks, I think my Lola hill climb car could do with a tweek to ignition and carbs, so need someone who understands these aspects.

Finally got around to using the driving gloves I got for Christmas.

Yesterday I fitted the arm rest.

Today I reconnected the heater exchangers to the cables and put back in a relay by the starter. I bought another as back up. I cleaned all the connect points so some of the spade connectors were a little loose so I squeezed with a pair of pliers.

Car still is starting after my fix! Also had a moment when the car was on the Jack stands as it decided to move down the hill and also came of the stands. Thankfully I wasn't under the car

Finally go around to test fitting the Momo Mod 07 steering wheel I bought from Andy. The hub needs a bit of fettling to get it to fit. Will probably only fit the wheel when I'm doing my hillclimbing as I love the original wheel.

Installed a set of K&N aircleaners

Bought a new mirror insert for my big Durant door mirror about 25 years ago.

Original silvering had started to spot irritatingly, so broke it out and fitted the new one.

Bit of a game, but all in and back on the door. Really need a press with a ring collar to evenly push the plastic ring in place. Blunt pliers did the job in the end.
