[Abcarrera]

Hello All

I was advised about this forum via a post I saw on FB. It’s a small world as they say, the forum administrator and originator was the author of the post and he lives local to me!

Anyway a little bit about me.
I am 50yrs young
Retired
And a petrolhead!

I have been into Porsche since I was 8 and owned my first when I was 24 it was a 924 Carrera Gt - wish I still had that car!
Over the years I had a few more and with the current cars the count is at 15.
I been lucky to have owned a lot of different models from several transaxle cars to several air cooled
Sc’s 3.2carreras, 964 cab, 993 C2 with RS aero, 997 TT, currently I have a brace of 996’s gen1 & gen 2 and my wife recently sold her 987S of ten years for a 981 S which is truly an amazing car especially with the PDK and all its goodies.

Being retired gives me plenty of time to follow my passion of motorsport and car events. This year I been following the 919evo on its tour (well it was at 3 of the events I attended lol) FOS, Brands Hatch Porsche festival & Rennsport Reunion VI which was the most amazing event I ever attended! I was lucky to meet so many Porsche icons both mechanical ones and personnel! From Norbert Singer, Hans Metzger to Chad McQueen and dozens in between!

I looking forward to exploring the forum and various threads / topics.
