Gasp.
What a book, and what a final chapter, Volume 1 in the whole restoration process.

Killer work by Barry, perfect commitment from you and yours to take this adventure, just fantastic for us all.
Bit sad to see it conclude!

Thank you so far for posting it all. :)

It’s hard to know what to say......

In a workshop in the middle of the Sussex countryside craftsmanship is continually produced that defines the qualities which has made this country great. Difficulties to be overcome, problems to be solved, what man has made can be made again (and probably better), quality over quantity, detail work before bodge, attention to the smallest detail, check and double check and a final product to be proud of rather than a quick fix. Achievents which last the test of time and will be admired by future generations as well as the current.
There are some that have this drive inside them and there are too many who do not. Upwards and onwards to those who do. We need you to continue your excellent craftsmanship to illustrate exactly what man is capable of.

Hats off to you....

Regards
Mike

Just like a stunningly beautiful woman she looks just as captivating and curvaceous with her clothes off as she does when fully dressed.

no, no no Bootsy. That’s not what I had in my head. You have just ruined the image.
I was thinking more Sophia Loren in a reclining naked pose, head back, on an ever so soft lounger, beside a sophisticated apartment swimming pool, with the merest hint of a paper thin chiffon scarf blowing in the Amalphi breeze covering only very sparsley the curves of smooth tanned skin with that slightly open mouth and those full red lips showing just a hint of pout and sultry eyes giving that sexy come-on look.

I do not see a well oiled tattooed female wrench holding a large spanner whispering, wanna try that again big boy before I get red raw around my valves.

Regards
Mike

Perfect choice of lady to suit the car, perfect.

Best thread on ddk by far.
Hope Barry is getting this too.

Take a lot to beat this one imho.
