Considering a SOR deal - advice please

It'd be a lot easier if I could do a Sale or Return deal on one or two of my cars....... Does anyone have any experience of this dealer ?

I'm also considering a Maserati tongue in cheek 2 litre as well !

You should PM Flat 6 - he has some experience of a recent Sale or Return transaction.

Also, run a credit check before handing a potentially valuable asset - Companies House accounts records show a significant negative net worth for this dealer.

You give a valued POSSESSION to a complete stranger. You then give him the keys to drive it away.
Something unfortunate happens and insurance company AND Fuzz show zero interest because it's a civil matter --------
Unless illness or other serious circumstance prevents you from doing so, flog it yourself and save the commission and hassle.

company house details can be 12 months out of date and a lot can happen in this time plus small company ownly have to submit minimal details

Absolutely right, these details give a snapshot at a moment in time, but the minimal details are still meaningful, especially when considering that the direction of travel seems to be pretty much one way in terms of the balance sheet over the past 10 years:

Can't see that changing much over 12 months unless they find a Carrera RS they didn't know they had.

Yorkshire humour or not, but 'Seller Beware' applies, do a lot of due diligence.
Our KS had a very good experience iirc mentioned in 'that' thread on the subject, so at least one dealer is sound, sure there are many others too.
