Lightweight Con Rods what to use ?? 2.0L race engine

I've decided to rebuild my 2.0l race engine - long story for another day. The first consideration is what conrods to use?

Has anyone any real experience of what conrods to use or avoid? H beam - I beam? What material alloy, steel dare I say titainium?

I'm looking in the first instance to have a safe 8.5k rpm upper limit and also doing some reasearch into cams, pistons, valves, springs ans retainers - may need help with those later, but for the mo a pointer to Carillo, Wossner or other rod manufacturers would be of great help.
