how to make steering wheel black again?Want tips and tricks

Post by Black Betty »

I have a 4 spoke leather steering wheel in my 944 S2. It's the original steering wheel and it is in a decent shape: the stitching is (still) perfect and there are no major problems with the leather. The leather just isn't black anymore: on top (because of the sun?) the leather is more brown(ish) than black and where the steering wheel is still black, it is partly shiny and partly dull...

How can I make the steering wheel black again so it'll look nice again?

Any tips and tricks?

The Woolies Trim kit is what many professionals use for restoring leather. Www.woolies-trim.co.uk

The website gives full instructions and it works extremely well. We’ve restored some very special cars with it.
