One of the most expensive resto projects I’ve seen but then again not a model I know much about and interesting history so maybe not?

Vin # 101533
Silver / Red
Delivered without 4 Cam engine Please see the COA and Kardex (Received 4 cam engine in Racing Department)
Transmission # 15746 Carrera GT rebuild. Original transmission number was 16024
Rallied in 1957 as #108 and in 1958 as #64 by Jules Meur; including Tulip (Tulpen Rally),Tour de Belgique and Liege Rome Liege.
So, yes a fairly significant car with what appears to be good documentation.

Original car all used up, original motor gone, dash monkeyed with, corvair engine and box, crashed and rusted. When its glossily rebuilt, starting with those squeaky new seats, how much of the spirit of the original car remains? I’ll keep my half mil I think.

Agreed. I'm struggling to get excited by this car.
