What to make of this? Totally impossible to register over here unless you strip it down completely and start it as a new build, IVA-style. Registered in the USA as a Chevrolet, yet nothing Chevrolet about it. Barge pole and not touching comes to mind.

Any hot rod is beauty in the eye of the beholder.
I think it is awful.
Just look at the Model A Ford roadster Bootsy has just posted, now that is wonderful (to my eyes).

Fortunately not accidentally bought and only academic interest . I can't really work out what is good and bad in the hot rod world. I thought that example to be bad, so was seeing what the massive thought!

Re: What to make of this...
Hot Rods are in the eye of the beholder but I would say a unifying factor is stance and looking clean and uncluttered. It’s not easy making an engine bay look uncluttered, and making the whole thing look great requires an attention to detail. Applying all those thoughts, this one looks shite. IMHBCO

To my eye, this is a far better take on the 27 Ford T turtle deck hot rod:

Boxster 987 Gen II 2.9
